Our founder, Dj Hot Potato began DJ'ing while in middle school at various Birthday Parties & Quinceañeras. After building a large enough following, he was offered a position to provide On-Air entertainment for Tampa's #1 iHeartRadio station. Over the years, opportunities to open for International performers like David Guetta, One Direction & Pitbull began flowing in.
After DJ'ing Weddings for a few close friends & really loving the energy of these celebrations, Hot Potato Entertainment was Born!

KConn, born Kyle William Connelly, is a Florida native. He moved to St. Petersburg, FL at the age of 19 where he got an internship at Clear Channel Communications better known as iHeartMedia in Tampa. Home to some of the most iconic radio stations in the country, KConn was quickly hired to the top40 station (93.3 WFLZ) as one of their mix show DJs. The exposure opened up opportunities that allowed him to perform alongside a variety of artists, including 3OH3!, Avicii, B.O.B., Boys like Girls, Bruno Mars, Cobra Starship, Coolio, David Guetta, Demi Lovato, Ed Sheeran, Enrique Iglesias, Flo Rida, Jason Derulo, Jordan Sparks, Kesha, Maroon 5, Mike Posner, One Republic, Pitbull, Sean Kingston, The Fray, Train, Vanilla Ice, Walk The Moon, and ZEDD to name a few.

Outside of radio KConn favors the genre of Electronic music, but is no stranger to hip hop or country music. His overall mixing style is similar to the late DJ AM (Adam Goldstein) where no decade goes unplayed. KConn has been providing these sounds on Siesta Key beach at the world famous Gilligans Island Bar each and every weekend for many years. While also running a mobile DJ business for the people wanting KConn to perform at their wedding or private events. With over 20+ years in the business this is one DJ that knows how to bring the party to any event.
